Nitrogen in coal is an important element in coal. The nitrogen oxides produced by its combustion will seriously pollute the air, easily form acid rain, and acidify the soil. At the same time, nitrite is an important carcinogen. In the power industry, the determination of nitrogen content in coal can be used to calculate the combustion heat of coal, the theoretical combustion temperature, the composition and heat balance of combustion products.
