[Mercury porosimetry] is a method to measure the volume, pore size distribution and porosity of mesopore and macropore in solid materials. It is based on the non-wetting characteristic of mercury to general solids materials. Under the action of external pressure, mercury can enter the solid pores, the greater external pressure, the smaller pore size into which mercury can enter. The order of mercury intrusion is first external then internal, first large pores then small pores. By measuring the volume of mercury injected under different pressures, the volume of the corresponding pore size can be known, further obtain the pore size distribution curve(the curve of the pore volume changing with the pore size, also known as porosity).
TP-97YG mercury porosimeter meetsISO 15901-1:2005 (international standard) and GB/T 21650.1-2008 (Chinese standard)
During the measurement process, TP-97YG calculates the volume of mercury pressed into the solid by monitoring the change of capacitance. TP-97YG is designed based on the principle of gravity difference. It avoids the experimental process when other types of mercury porosimeters measure less than 1 negative pressure. Thereby ensuring the continuity, integrity and reliability of the analysis data. TP-97YG features: high pressure, wide measurement range, good stability, small blank value, high precision, simple operation, and accompanied by a computer real-time acquisition system . TP-97YG:There are two models: 1. TP-97YG-01, has 1 sample cell;(DiameterØ25mm; Length30mm) 2.TP-97YG-02, has 2 sample cell;(DiameterØ25mm; Length30mm)
1. Minimum vacuum: 0.05Pa,mechanical vacuum pump 2. Testing pressure: 60Mpa 3. Working pressure: 0.01-50Mpa 4. Static pressure: ≤20mmHg 5. Pore size range: 126-0.03μm 6. Total Pore volume range: 0.3-3.5ml 7. Blank value: about 0.25ml at 50Mpa 8. Accuracy: 0.5% 9. Have strict mercury safety protection measures, to effectively avoid the impact of mercury vapor on the indoor environment 10. Analysis model: cumulative pore volume,Incremental pore volume, average pore size, porosity curve, mercury injection/mercury removal curve, Mercury intrusion rate, etc. 11. Apply to: >3mm, granular solid sample or block solid sample. (no powder)
