Model AG-220 aerosol generator is a portable aerosol generator independently developed and produced by our company. Like the aerosol generator Model AG-230, it uses compressed air condensation shock to produce aerosol particles; the difference is that it has a built-in compressed air source and does not require the use of external compressed air. Model AG-220 aerosol generator is recommended to operate at test air volumes below 2000 cfm for testing of single equipment unit high efficiency filters.
Portable aerosol generators can be divided into two types according to the generation principle: condensation shock generation type and heating generation type. Among them, the aerosol generators of condensation and shock generation type are AG-220 (with pump type) and AG-230 (compressed air type), two models, and the aerosol generators of heating generation type are AG-1800 type.
The aerosol generator can generate polydisperse particles with a concentration of 10ug/L to 100mg/L at a pressure of 20pisg and a flow rate of 50 to 80,000cfm (AG-230).
Aerosol generator is a device to generate smoke, DOP solvent (or PAO solvent) poured into the generator container, under certain pressure or heating conditions can produce aerosol smoke, the aerosol smoke will be sent to the upper wind side of the high efficiency filter (DOP liquid heating, the formation of DOP vapor, the vapor condensed into tiny droplets under specific conditions, to remove too large and too small droplets, leaving only 0.3μm (about particles, fog DOP into the air duct).
High efficiency filters and their installation such as defects, such as small holes in the filter itself or small cracks formed by poor installation, can lead to failure to achieve the intended purification effect. Therefore, after the installation or replacement of the high efficiency filter, the filter and the installation connection must be tested for leakage. By testing the leakage amount of the high efficiency filter, the defects of the high efficiency filter and its installation can be found so that remedial measures can be taken.
Aerosol generators and aerosol photometers are used to detect the efficiency of high efficiency filter leaks. By combining the aerosol generator and aerosol photometer, defects in the filter, such as pinholes, leaks, gasket leaks, internal leaks, or frame leaks, can be quickly detected and corrected and measures taken in time to ensure the efficiency of the HEPA filter and the cleanliness level of the ultra-clean room.
The advantages of the AG-220 and AG-230 include stainless steel, large filling ports, and independent Laskin Nozzles control, as well as the fact that each generator has a different concentration and flow rate range, allowing the user to choose according to their needs.
AG-1800 can be applied to a wider range of flow rates, reaching 1500 to 65000 cfm, to meet the use of high efficiency filter testing of large flow rates.
The aerosol generators are equipped with nozzle connectors to direct the aerosol particles generated by the aerosol generator upstream of the HEPA filter.
