I. Summary
The instrument is used to determine closed cup flash point of petroleum products. II. Purpose and scope
The instrument is designed and made as per GB/T261-2008 "Test Methods and ASTM D93 for Flash Point of Petroleum Products (Pensky-Martens Closed Cup Method)". It is suitable to determine closed cup flash point of petroleum products, which is expressed as the lowest temperature when the mixture of its vapor and air contacts flame and appears flash, using a closed oil cup under the stipulated condition.
