Application
The series of intelligent sulfur tester produced by our company is mainly used to detect the total sulfur content in coal, steel and various minerals. It is the preferred and necessary instrument for testing in coal, electric power, chemical industry, building materials, metallurgy, geological exploration, commodity inspection, environmental protection testing and other departments.
The instrument is designed according to GB/T214-1996 coulometric titration method. The instrument is controlled by M430 CPU of Texas Instruments, and many automatic control functions such as automatic control of electrolysis switch and PID mode control of furnace flow are newly added. It also performs various corrections and processing on the test data by the microprocessor, which makes the test data stable and consistent, and the accuracy and precision of the test results are better than the requirements of the national standard GB/T214-1996. It also has many advantages such as large-screen English display, sensitive touch screen, artificial intelligence voice reporting, friendly man-machine interface, simple operation, easy to learn and use, high degree of automation, small size and many other advantages. It is currently an ideal laboratory for sulfur measurement. instrument.

Working Principle
The test sample is burned in the purified air flow under the high temperature condition of 1050 ºC, and the various forms of sulfur in the coal are burned and decomposed, and then brought to the electrolytic cell by the air flow to combine with water to form H2SO3. Because it destroys the dynamic balance of the original iodine-iodide ion pair in the electrolytic cell, the instrument immediately outputs current to electrolyze the potassium iodide solution to generate iodine to restore the original dynamic balance, which is the coulomb titration in GB/T214-1996. How much current is consumed to restore the original dynamic equilibrium is related to the combustion and decomposed sulfur in the test sample, which can be measured and calculated by the microprocessor.
