Product Description

Introduction
The TP-6201 dielectric loss factor calibrator is an RC series standard dielectric loss tester. The resistance is switched by numerical control, the operation is very convenient, and high repeatability can be achieved in the range of ±2°C (tgδ: 0.05% × reading + 0.001%, capacitance 0.01pF). There are 30 gears between 0 and 10%, and the maximum working voltage is 10kV.

2. Operation method:
Power on/off: lightly press the "Start/Stop" key to turn on, and press and hold the "Start/Stop" key for more than one second to turn off. Standby for 90 seconds without any button action, it will automatically shut down. The selected gear remains unchanged after shutdown.
Shifting: Press "↑", "↓" to select the dielectric loss gear after power on. The lower right corner shows the nominal value of dielectric loss, the first line shows the actual value of capacitance, and the second line shows the actual value of dielectric loss. A total of 30 stalls:

Bridge type: Press the "→" key to switch between the Xilin type bridge and the current comparator type bridge. The upper right corner shows "S" for the Xilin type bridge, does not display "S" for the current comparator type bridge, the difference between them is the different capacitance:
CS=C(1+tg2δ)
If the frequency of use is not strictly 50Hz, the actual value of dielectric loss should be multiplied by the correction factor f/50.

3. Wiring
Forward wiring: screw on the four bottom corner insulating brackets, the shield terminal is grounded (connected to the low-voltage shield of the bridge under test during high-precision measurement), the high-end of the main capacitor is connected to the test high voltage, and the output terminal is connected to the positive connection measurement end of the bridge under test.

Reverse wiring: screw on the four bottom corner insulating brackets, the high-end of the main capacitor is grounded, the shield terminal is connected to the test high voltage (the high-voltage shield of the tested bridge is connected during high-precision measurement), and the output terminal is connected to the reverse wiring measurement end of the tested bridge.
Note: Do not reverse the wiring when verifying the M-type bridge.

4. Verification
TP-6201 has preset the data of C and tgδ of each gear, but it is still required to be re-calibrated by the verification agency, and each gear C and tgδ should be put into the instrument.

5. Parameter setting:
In the power-off state, press and hold the three buttons "↑", "↓" and "→" at the same time, and then turn on the power. Use "→" to move the cursor, "↑" and "↓" to modify the content, and select the nominal value of dielectric loss in the lower right corner. , if the data verified by the Xilin bridge should be set to "S" in the upper right corner, and the data verified by the current comparator bridge should cancel the "S" in the upper right corner. After the setting is completed, press and hold the "Start/Stop" button for more than one second to exit.

6. Charging:
If there is no display after power on, the battery may be dead and needs to be charged: plug in the 220V power supply and charge for 10 hours. The instrument can work continuously for 100 hours under the power-on state. Due to the automatic power-off function, it does not need to be charged frequently.

7. Matters needing attention:
When using with high precision, the shielding potential must be applied to keep the equipotential between the shielding and the output, and use in the specified constant temperature environment.
Avoid mechanical impact. High voltage cannot be applied between the output and the shield, otherwise the dielectric loss will be damaged.
Do not arbitrarily adjust the 11 weight resistors on the left, otherwise it should be re-tested. The 11 weighted resistors correspond to 0.005/0.01/0.02/0.04/0.08/0.2/0.4/0.8/2/4/8% of the dielectric loss values from top to bottom.
