   COBB-1 Lab Cobb Paper Water Absorption Performance Tester/ Cobb Testing Meter

 

Application:

The Paper and Paperboard Cob Absorbability Tester is a special instrument for the determination of the
water absorption of paper and board surfaces. Its main technical specifications and performance parameters are in accordance with ISO 535 "Paper and Cardboard - Determination of Water Absorption - Cobb Method" and QB /T1668 "Ke Bo absorption tester" relevant provisions.This instrument is mainly used to measure the amount of absorbed water on the surface of sizing paper and board under the conditions specified by the standard. Loose paper (such as newsprint paper), unsized paper (such as blotter paper), and other highly absorbent papers are not suitable for this instrument. Other test methods and instruments should be used.

Feature:

1 Unpacking This instrument is packed in wooden boxes. Open the box, open the top of the box, remove the random technical documents in the box, and according to the packing list to clean the contents of the box, check the correct, open the side of the box, remove the bottom of the box and the instrument host connection Fix the bolts and remove the instrument host.
2 Test machine

2.1 Wipe the surface of the instrument clean (remove the grease with a soft cloth at the place where rust is applied and clean it) and place it on a flat, stable work surface.
2.2 Install the handle and check whether any parts of the instrument are damaged during transportation.
2.3 Operate according to the operating procedures indicated in this manual. If there is no abnormality, it can be delivered for use.

3.1 Sample Preparation and Processing
3.1.1 According to GB450 and GB10739 take samples and processing.
3.1.2 Cut the treated specimen into a circular test piece with a diameter of 125 mm (recommendation of a dedicated Kappa water sampler is recommended).
