Petroleum Products Ash Content Tester

Application
This instrument is designed and manufactured under the requirements of ASTM D482, GB/T 508 " Petroleum product ash determination method", applicable to test ash content in petroleum products. It is not applicable for testing ash content of petroleum products which contain ash additives(including some additives that have phosphorous compound) , leaded lubricants and used engine crankcase oil.

A: The Main Technical Characteristics
1. The working principle of this instrument is to use ash-free filter paper as ignition core, ignite the sample placed in crucible and make it burn to only ash and residual carbon. The carbonaceous residue was then heat to ash in a high temperature furnace at 775. degree. C. and then cooled and weigh.
2. This instrument is composed of digital chamber electrical resistance furnace and electric furnace, with small occupying room.
3. Chamber electric resistance furnace adopts split type structure, composed of digital temperature control system, furnace chamber made of special fireproofing material and heater units, with shorter heating time, small overshoot of temperature, stable and accurate temperature control, long service life.
4. Electric furnace is composed of furnace wire and heating devices of fireproof material, with compact structure, small and durable.
B: Instrument structure
- Chamber electric resistance furnace structure
- Ammeter: display the working current of heating furnace and timely reflect the heating power condition of heater.
- Temperature controller: digital temperature controller. Adopts thermocouple temperature sensor to set, display, control the furnace temperature.
- Power switch: chamber furnace power switch, open this switch and then chamber furnace power on and indicator light on.
- The oven door closed is to use the weight of the door handle, through the leverage of the oven door close to the furnace port, when open it you only need raise handle slightly up, after decoupling to pull out open, let the oven door on the left.
2. Electric Furnace Structure
(1). Heating plane: it is made of furnace wire and refractory material, and the heating plane is in high temperature state during operation.
(2). Electric furnace chamber: heating devices are arranged inside the box.
(3). Heating switch: potentiometer with switch, turn on the switch to the right and then gently turn to the right.
