Introduction of Accurate Auto-calibration
At present, there are many domestic manufacturers of surface / interface tensiometer, but which seldom have similar advanced technology as imported "accuracy automatic calibration".
The so-called "accuracy automatic calibration" is to automatically correct the overall error of the actual measurement standard sample of the instrument (the theoretical value of the surface tension of secondary distilled water at 20 ºC is 72.75mn/m and the theoretical value of the surface tension of pure ethanol at 20 ºC is 22.3mn/m), so as to ensure that the instrument can meet the requirements of the technical parameters.
Typically, surface/interface tension tester have full-scale calibration, which is done with a weight equivalent to the maximum range (eg 200mN/m, 400mN/m or 600mN/m). No matter which company adopts the method, it can only calibrate the circuit part of the instrument. Full-scale calibration is necessary for measuring instruments, but not comprehensive: because a full-scale calibrated instrument does not mean that actual measurement of the sample is accurate. This is because the measurement error of the key sensing element, the platinum plate or the platinum ring, is not taken into account.
Similar instruments sold on the market, it is difficult or unlikely to reach 0.1mn/m or 0.03mn/m only by manual calibration,due to lack of "accuracy automatic calibration" function.
