The instrument is designed and manufactured according to the national standard GB/T12581 "Standard Test Method for Oxidation Characteristic of Inhibited Mineral Oils " (equivalent to ASTM D943). It is suitable for the determination of turbine oils, but also for other types of oils that are less dense than water and contain anti-rust additives and anti-oxidation additives, such as circulating oils and hydraulic oils.
