The pressure density meter cylinder conforms to SH/T0221 "Determination of Density or Relative Density of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Pressure Density Meter Method)", which is suitable for liquefied petroleum gas or light hydrocarbons whose vapor pressure (gauge pressure) is lower than 1.4MPa at the test temperature. Both the density meter and the thermometer are issued with provincial inspection reports.
Sampling Steps of Pressure Density Meter Cylinder:
1. Carefully clean and dry the density meter, thermometer and the inner wall of the pressure cylinder, put the density meter into the pressure cylinder, hang the thermometer, and cover the end plate. 2. Connect the inlet valve and the sample supply source with suitable connectors to allow the sample to be introduced into the cylinder. Connections should be checked for leaks. Open the outlet valve and slightly open the inlet valve to allow the sample to flow through the outlet valve at the bottom of the cylinder, flushing the sampling connection. 3. After flushing the connection, close the outlet valve and the vent valve, open the inlet valve, and let the liquid enter the cylinder until it is full. If necessary, the vent valve can be opened slightly to completely fill the cylinder, and then closed, and the gauge pressure in the cylinder should never rise above 1.4MPa. 4. When the cylinder is full of samples, close the inlet valve and open the outlet valve to let all the contents in the cylinder be discharged, and reduce the pressure in the cylinder to atmospheric pressure. 5. Close the outlet valve and open the inlet valve, and fill the cylinder to the level where the density meter enclosed in the cylinder can float freely. This charging can be accomplished by venting vapors through the vent valve if necessary. Repeat flushing, fully cool the cylinder before filling, so you don't have to empty it. 6. Close all valves and check whether there is any air leakage in the instrument. If any air leakage is found, the sample will be discarded. After lowering to atmospheric pressure, repair the leak and repeat the above sampling procedures.
