Overview
The TP-2001 atmospheric thickener is designed with reference to the American API Specification 10A "Specification for Materials and Tests of Oil Well Cement" and API Recommended Practice 10B-2 "Recommended Practice for Determination of Oil Well Cement". It is used to measure the consistency of cement slurry and can also be used for cement Slurry free liquid (free water) measurement, static fluid loss test and many other oil well cement tests. At atmospheric pressure, the maximum heating temperature is 200°F (93°C). The instrument is suitable for oil well cement research, cement admixture research and testing, and product quality inspection for mud manufacturers, as well as for research laboratories and field laboratories of oil well service companies.
 

Safety
When operating or maintaining the instrument, the laboratory safety operating procedures should be followed and appropriate safety precautions should be taken, as follows:

Safe heating
The 1500-watt heating rod in the tank directly heats the heat transfer oil in the tank to a maximum heating temperature of 200°F (93°C). Due to the high temperature of the fuel tank, take care to prevent burns.

Electrical safety operation
The power supply of the TP-2001 atmospheric thickener is AC 220V. Before troubleshooting or maintenance, please refer to the circuit diagram in Section 10. Note: In order to avoid the risk of electric shock, the instrument must be disconnected from the power supply before maintenance; only the power switch is turned off, and the electrical terminals inside the instrument are electrified.

Environmental factors
The cement slurry used for instrument testing contains additives, and it uses heat-conducting oil as a heating medium. When the instrument is running, the liquid temperature will gradually increase and evaporate. Appropriate methods must be taken and these materials should be properly disposed of.
